Construction & Layout

Believed to built in 1972 in Shropshire & owned by Dartline Ltd, possibly an ex-hire craft. Steel Hull & composite superstructure comprising Marine ply & G.r.p. a mix of T&G planing

to the gunnels, ply panels from gunnels to deck head & plastic deck head throughout. Hopper style windows.

Spacious Cruiser stern cockpit allows for seating within the weather proof area & great access to the engine bay via wooden sectional floor which also has

protective rubber mat. Single lever morse control. On entering the saloon from the cockpit, a solid fuel stove with small oven! is sat neatly to starboard. Heads to starboard with port loo, Galley occupies both Port & Starboard

mid-ship section & provides for a Geist Oven & 4 burner Hob & Grill, shoreline 12v refrigerator, storage units & drawers, single bowl sink with left hand drainer & mixer tap.

Good number of 240v double outlets. Forward cabin offers space for Twin or Double beds. Access to Foredeck which benefit of having a Cratch cover in matching red. Twin gas clinders can

be found within the gas locker at the bow section.

AC Shore power fitted & with suitable Consumer unit & MCB breakers, shore power cable approx 15m. large number of Double outlets throughout cabins.

We are informed by the vendor that the hull of “Pru Sarn” has had some overplating when the vessel was ashore previous to her last lift in August 2021. Full hull blacking & anodes etc

had also been carried out in 2021. These little narrowboats are very desirable & “Pru Sarn” is no exception, some cosmetic work is required though she remains ready

in her current state to cruise the Inland waterways.
